Hi, I'm Rachel. I have a real enthusiasm for biology and chemistry and love to help students to reach their full potential. I can support from primary up to GCSE level. I'm happy to tutor from my own home or to travel.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and dog. I also care for my two horses.

Tutoring Experience

I have spent over 20 years working as a research scientist.
I currently work in a highly regarded secondary school in Wiltshire, both in a teaching role and as teaching assistant supporting students with a range of abilities and need. My specialities are biology and chemistry and special educational needs. I am familiar with different exam boards.

I have a patient, friendly personality and offer a flexible, sympathetic approach to tutoring driven by the needs of the student. Everyone is different and it's important to find strengths in order to build up the confidence to succeed.
