QIAN

I am a fully qualified teacher specialising in A level Psychology, Sociology and Chinese at sixth form. I also have experience as an AQA examiner, which gives me a strong understanding of exam expectations and assessment criteria. My students consistently achieve excellent grades at both A level and GCSE in these subjects. I hold a BA and an MA in Education from the University of Birmingham, as well as a PGCE in my teaching subject.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching A level Psychology and Sociology with both AQA and Edexcel exam boards. In addition, I taught GCSE and A level Chinese for five years. As an A level examiner, I have in depth knowledge of the assessment criteria and understand what is required for students to achieve top grades.

Tutoring Approach

I place a strong emphasis on exam techniques while ensuring that my students thoroughly understand the syllabus. This helps them apply their knowledge effectively in exams. Additionally, I recognise that every student is unique. As a fully qualified teacher, I tailor my teaching methods to suit the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
