I have a computing degree from a UK university and have worked in software development and compute infrastructure at JPMorgan. Therefore I can help with any theoretical and practical topics on IT and programming, and school level maths.
I have worked part-time as a lab tutor for three of my four years at university. This involved me helping other students during lab sessions.
When I was living in Bulgaria I have done private Bulgarian language tutoring for an senior age couple from the USA.
I think that before anything else, it would be fair to have a face-to-face conversation to establish wants and needs, and whether we think we will be able to work together. From there I'm looking to adapt my approach to the person's requirements.
I think it is fundamental to understand how learning will benefit students' future. I know many struggle with this, as I have when I was in school. Therefore I can help students understand what they are being asked to do and help motivate them.
