I am a Chartered Accountant from Northern Ireland, having worked in audit, accounts preparation, forensics and payroll. I am currently working as a Financial Analyst. I passed all of my chartership exams on the first attempt.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring Further Math's for the past year and the student that I have tutored grade has risen from a D to an A*. I also was a tutor during my time at school and have tutored several of my work colleagues as they sit their accountancy exams. I tutored other students in the past and got them to increase their grades

Tutoring Approach

Being a Chartered Accountant I have had to do exams up until the last year so I am not that far removed from studying myself.
My approach is to focus on specific areas of their syllabus and encouraging the student in the questions that teach the steps to getting the right answer, after getting that then processing to more complicated questions to build their confidence.
