Phil tutored our son for economics A level.
He was always punctual and turned up. Really personable guy. Made our son feel at ease and encouraged him to really explore economics through open discussion and going through the A level syllabus. Would highly recommend him. Our son is now going to university to study economics.

Phil tutored my son, first in person and then online, throughout the sixth form which has been invaluable, especially during the lockdown. Phil's style of teaching is professional yet very friendly and patient, so my son felt comfortable asking for clarification of anything that he didn't understand. His progress with Phil's support has been amazing - Economics has gone from being his worst subject that he really struggled with, to the subject that he's now looking forward to studying at university. I recommend Phil without reservation.

Phil is a great economics teacher and I've discovered it since our first lesson. My main worry coming into the lesson was the fact that it is an online lesson and so I thought no matter how good a teacher you are, communication is always going to be an issue there. However, not only did I not feel the difference, I felt like Phil was my teacher a long long time ago and this not only made the lessons more comfortable but also more productive. His knowledge of the content is incredible and more importantly so is his knowledge of exam technique and this is very important because without it, you could never achieve high marks. He informed me about aspects of the exam that I've never knew existed and pulled my marks up instantly. He was able to identify where I'm weak at and we are able to improve the quality of my work in no time and get it to the to the right level. He was always there to help even outside of lesson time and this shows the kind of caring person Phil is. Thanks Phil!

Phil has been working with my daughter on a weekly basis since September 2016. She is in year 13 studying AQA 'A' level Economics, and felt in need of some extra support alongside her school lessons.
From the outset, we have found Phil to be a friendly, pleasant, but professional tutor. He is clearly very knowledgable in his subject area, but also in terms of the exam process. My daughter has very much valued Phil's ability to help her with her exam technique, and also the way in which he uses real life examples and **Web Address Removed** My daughter has made significant progress in her understanding, interest, confidence and achievement in Economics, since working with Phil.
We have found Phil to be 100% reliable and punctual, and my daughter has felt relaxed and comfortable working with him. I would have no reservations in highly recommending Phil as an excellent Economics tutor.

Phil has been tutoring me for over a year now and has really helped me grasp economics. He has given me immense support in preperation for my exams and has helped me to become a lot more knowledgeable within the subject.

Very relaxed and helpful style.

Results speak volumes our daughter passed her A level with attaining a 'B'. The support she received through Phil was enjoyable and it worked. The rating provided is her rating which matters most given she was the student. As parents we are happy with the investment we made.
