I know that anyone can love young children, and I do, but I think I can give more to them. Based on my past experiences, I have learned and adjusted for my students. I am fully committed to their lives and learning, even when it is difficult to love them. I am learning that being a teacher means you serve and are no longer being served.

Tutoring Approach

I know that successful students become successful adults. This is my tenth year in Education. So far, I have taught and supported students from Reception through to Year 11. I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting students who are struggling with their academic work. Helping a student overcome a learning barrier and seeing a smile on their face is the most rewarding feeling. Education is so much more than just learning curriculums and finding academic success for students. It’s also about building safe, inclusive and connected school communities that promote wellbeing and learning.

Helping my students to feel connected and engaged in their learning and collaborating effectively with parents is of the utmost importance to me as this will enable the student to develop the social and emotional skills to grow into happy, respectful, well-balanced and successful members of their school and the wider community.
