I am a passionate teacher of maths who takes pride in trying to ensure that I talk to pupils at their level when explaining concepts. I am patient and considerate and have always enjoyed working with young people. I fully understand the crucial importance of mathematics within the workplace.

Tutoring Experience

I have 30 years’ experience of teaching mathematics, including up to Further Maths A-Level. I have worked in the state sector of the UK and also in a high performing school in the Middle East. I have helped pupils gain admission to the very best universities worldwide..

Tutoring Approach

Patience is key, as is the realisation of the pupil that it is fine to make a mistake. I help to instil the realisation that maths is about practice. If a pupil does not understand a concept initially then I will try a different explanation. My aim is to gradually increase confidence over time.
