I am a passionate Science teacher from Leicester. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a research and development engineer. I feel this really helps me link the real world applications to the Science we learn at school.

Tutoring Experience

Having taught in secondary schools for over seven years, I have plenty of experience teaching GCSE science and A level Physics across several syllabuses and exam boards. As an A level teacher I have helped a number of students achieve top grades and go on to study at Cambridge University.

Tutoring Approach

Casual discussion and lecture style for presenting necessary information.
Such as:
Key points for learning in topics, strategies for approaching problems, strategies for learning and revision.
Working through example questions step by step with students. Including any they may want to review from school/ college.
I can also provide electronic resources such as questions (with answers) and revision materials for students to review between sessions if they choose.
