I am a well travelled and educated tutor, having lived and taught many years in countries such as Mexico, France, Australia, Japan, Spain etc Alongside language tuition, I love watersports ( I am a Scuba Diver Instructor), yoga and nature. I am a mother of two teenagers and live in beautiful Dorset with my husband and two furbabies.

Tutoring Experience

I have been running my own language school Removedfor over 16 years, teaching adults, children, business owners and even the olympic team! Teaching has been in groups and one-to-one, and more recently on-line. Alongside the classes, I have taken my students over to Europe to put into practice what they have learnt. Together with the language, a rich cultural experience is enjoyed. Previous to my time in Dorset, I taught English in Osaka, Japan for one year and scuba diving on the great Barrier Reef, Australia.

Tutoring Approach

I am an experienced, relaxed tutor who will gently push the student. I believe that the students enjoyment of the class is what matters most, and that they learn in an enjoyable way. I am led by the student and aim to help them in the areas that they find challenging, but also focus on what they need to learn in order to progress.
