Patrick

I am retired, but am by profession a barrister, and a graduate of Oxford University. I am fluent in French, German and Italian, and am studying Arabic. I have travelled in Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States. I have had magazine articles published on law and country life. I am interested in literature, history, music, and above all in riding and everything to do with horses !

Tutoring Approach

My aim is to help students that want to learn to speak the Queen's English. I can coach them in their vocabulary and pronunciation so as to achieve this. We shall not be using books based on a syllabus, our texts will be selections from the great English writers.
