I have previously worked as a Design Engineer for 10 years working on new product development of heavy machinery ranging from recycling sorting stations to screening equipment. I enjoy various hobbies such as 3D printing and mechatronics and I am generally keeping busy on various projects.

Tutoring Experience

Throughout my career I have always been in a training position for other Engineers whether that it for them to brush up on skills that they may have forgotten or for teaching new skills which they may not have learned during their studies. I have found myself in primarily training roles as it has generally been a position that I have naturally gravitated towards.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that theory is best learned with a practical application in mind. I think it is best seen how something can be used in a real world application so that the student can look at the material in the first person and how they can apply that knowledge in the future.
