Hi, my name is Patricia, I am a native French speaker. I came to live in the UK after completing my University degrees in 1979. I love being with my family, children and grandchildren, but work is also an important and enjoyable part of my life. I work solely as a French private tutor.
I started at Berlitz, in 1979, in London, teaching French to adults. I now have over 40 years successful experience, tutoring at all levels, all ages, from little children in pre-prep, to University. My tutees improve on their predicted grades, and I am dedicated to help each student achieve their full potential. Long experience in scholarships (Eton etc), GCSE, A levels, University degrees. And of course, French for business or simply conversation.
As well as highly competent, reliable and professional, which is expected I am sure, I am patient and supportive, friendly, and will do my best to make each student feel at ease. I will try and find the teaching approach that is best suited to each individual.
When teaching younger pupils, I will communicate with parents after every lesson. I have a enhanced DBS certificate, with automatic update, to work with the young and vulnerable. I have taught a number of children with SEN. I have CPD Standards Office accredited Certificate, in Safeguarding Children Level 2.
