Parth Amitkumar

I am an experienced university tutor with a strong commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching. My background includes designing and delivering engaging learning experiences for undergraduate medical and para-medical students, with a focus on both academic rigour and pastoral support. I have taught and assessed diverse student cohorts and worked closely with colleagues from various backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ and disabled staff and students.

Tutoring Experience

I have a 18 months of anatomy tutoring experience to medical and dental students at a medical college in India. Currently, for the last 15 months, I have been working as anatomy demonstrator at City St. George's, university of London. I would like to work as tutor for the young minds to foster the gap which students generally face - to learn and adapt to different teaching styles in university.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is grounded in clarity, accessibility, and active learning. I strive to create a learning environment where students feel heard, supported, and challenged to think critically. I regularly reflect on my practice and adapt my methods based on student feedback and evolving educational research. I also have experience mentoring student demonstrators and adapting sessions for students and colleagues with specific needs, such as those with disabilities or neurodivergence.
I am passionate about helping learners achieve their full potential and take pride in being approachable, responsive, and inclusive in all aspects of my role.
