I have a 1st class degree in Mathematics from UCL. I currently work as an Actuary in a mathematically and statistically heavy career. I have always loved passing my knowledge and gearing up the next generation of mathematicians.

I have been tutoring in Maths for the past 10 years at all levels.

Tutoring Approach

Just improving grades is not my only goal when tutoring, I aim to teach to instil a love and appreciation for maths in all. The grades will naturally follow.

I am structured and methodical in my approach. I assess the student's ability, focus on the improving their weaknesses and hone their strengths with practice. I aim to create a strong foundation of the basics so the student can feel confident in their own abilities and tackling difficult questions.

I am happy to tailor the session around a student's needs, whether it be focusing on a weaker topic or helping with their homework.
