I am a warm and enthusiastic language lover. I studied French and Spanish with Italian at the University of Edinburgh, and I am currently working as an MFL teacher in a school in London.
I have several years’ experience teaching French and Spanish in the private and state sectors at KS3/4 level. I have also worked as a language assistant in a Spanish primary school, and as a TEFL teacher.
I believe that language classes should involve a mixture of rigour and fun so that students can benefit from clear instruction and the motivation that enjoyment can bring. Having struggled myself with languages at school, I am very sympathetic to the challenges of learning MFL, and I am patient and adaptable in my teaching. I am happy to offer whatever the students want or need in terms of grammar focus, conversation practice or general language work.
