Full time professional tutor since graduating from Oxford (Brasenose College) in 2010 and now new to FirstTutors after my prior platform closed down. I have helped over 50 students achieve excellent results with some even attending Oxbridge.

I am a 35 year old friendly tutor in London doing this as a passion. I graduated with a masters in mathematics from Oxford University and now run a boutique financial advisory firm in London part time but still love to tutor part time as it gives me great purpose. Experienced with AQA, Edexcel, IB and OCR for Maths tutoring. I passed school with straight As and highest distinctions possible all the way up to A level, including further maths at A level, so love to help keen students realise their potential too.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored primarily GCSE & A level mathematics across London since 2007. Experienced with AQA, Edexcel, IB and OCR for Maths and Further Maths A Level.

I was extremely luck to attend Oxford University, and I was blown away by the power of small group teaching, having never loved large classes as much at school. I could not believe the amount it was possible to progress in each guided tutoring. It's a privilege to be able to provide such a service myself, for my students.

Tutoring Approach

Students learn better than ever in one to one sessions. I have a relatively simple and supportive approach; all that is needed initially is to assess the students current level and then through fun, challenging private tuition getting them to grow quickly with practice practice and a little more practice. Primarily I recommend this learning through doing but I am always happy to go back to fundamentals and theory when necessary.
