Ody

Hi, I'm Ody and I am a current medical student. Having achieved 4 A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Psychology at A level and 10 9s at GCSE (including Maths, English Literature and Language and Triple Science) at a grammar school, I believe that I have valuable insight and knowledge to give to students. I am available to tutor students in Chemistry and Biology at A-Level and Maths at GCSE Level. I am also available for mentoring students in preparation for medical school applications as I attend one of the top medical schools.

Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years experience tutoring at an 11+ tuition centre, and experience working with children in a residential setting. A period of that time was during COVID so I became familiar with online learning.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style focuses on making sure students feel heard at all times- I will work with them to turn any weakness into a strength and to stretch them where possible. From my experience, the key to success in any subject is practice, so I always ensure that students have the opportunity to do so, whether it be during a lesson or for homework. I am adaptable and reasonable, and I make sure to listen to my students to make sure that the lesson structure is suitable for the individual. It is essential that students have a firm foundation of skills before tackling past papers, so I break down the content into lessons to ensure they are confident in all areas.
