Very good teacher, open to explaining concepts as many times as needed.

Note: this experience is based on very special need of short term, consultation before y12 mock A-level resits, not proper "tutoring"
Really diligent, structured and very obviously has a lot of experience. We ended up parting ways as my son needed more of a consultant than a proper/regular tutor and tuition. Would recommend him though to anyone looking for well planned and executed lessons over a period off time. Not so much for one-off, "here are some random questions" type of on/off tutoring.

My son needed help with his year 9 physics just before his end of year exams. I contacted Octavian who did a few sessions with him and really helped clear my sons concepts. He also guided him towards resources he could use to practise. Very pleased.

Octavian is an excellent tutor who helped my son enormously with an aspect of his course that he was struggling with. He is highly professional, has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and was able to answer my son's questions around aspects of medical physics at Masters level giving him the knowledge and confidence boost that he needed.
Octavian is friendly and easy to work with, and I really can't thank him enough for his help.

Octavian was a very knowledgeable tutor who knew a great deal about the courses I was taking in Physics at University.

Octavian is clearly very experienced in his many fields and as both a teacher and private tutor. Octavian's has such a command of his subjects; be it maths, sciences or languages, that one cannot help but feel confident in his charge. I've noticed that he manages to get through a lot of material in a short space of time. After just the first lesson Octavian has successfully reignited our daughter's interest in maths once again. How? I believe it's a combination of how he delivers the content, his approach to identifying the best questions to ask a student based on their individual nature and how he clarifies the methodology of working out a problem before providing the explanation of the outcome in the most simplistic of terms. Despite accomplishing so much he continues to study which suggests that he has a natural thirst for knowledge. Octavian is very professional, highly responsive and is able to base his lessons around the various examination board systems. Most importantly, he instills confidence in both the student and the parent.

My son has found Octavian very helpful with catching up with University level physics.

Octavian was of huge benefit to myself whilst studying for my resit at University. I was out of the country for several weeks before the exam so he helped me out through Skype and then when I came back to London he helped me in person. He is very knowledgable of the subject and is flexible for times/dates.

I will highly recommend for IB higher Physics and IB higher Maths. I was looking for IB higher Maths teacher after being let down by so called IB Maths teachers who have no knowledge in teaching IB. We got three in one from . He is proficient in teaching Higher Maths, Physics and French.
