I am currently studying economics at Brunel University. Before that I attended college where I studies A Level Maths, Sociology and Economics. I achieved an A in GCSE Maths. Now I want to help other students learn and enjoy maths as much as I do.
In the past I have privately tutored students in secondary school level maths.
To make sure I go through everything schools may teach in the curriculum, I go through the GCSE specification as if it's a checklist and cover/teach students every topic on the list. Once they feel confident that they know the topic and have done some practice questions I give the exam-style questions from past GCSE papers to attempt. This ensures that not only have they learnt the topic but can also apply that knowledge they have learnt to exam questions. I will repeat this with every topic in the specification.
