An industrious and ambitious individual with a track record of academic success, having achieved 10 grade 9s at GCSE and A*A*A at A-Level from the prestigious Queen Elizabeth's School, I would love to help younger pupils achieve their academic potential. I am currently a gap year student starting at LSE in September.
I was a tutor at my school's Biology clinic, where I simplified difficult concepts to KS3/GCSE pupils and practised exam questions with them, as well as clarifying any doubts they had. I also was an academic peer Mentor who supported younger students with organisational skills and progression through the School.
I aim to cater to the pupil's individual needs and tailor the session accordingly, however I believe practice questions are the best way of solidifying material and preparing for exams so a portion of every session would ideally have some. I wish to instil a love of learning whilst helping them get exam-ready and focus on understanding material via an organised structure - asking about taught content at School at the start of each lesson, moving on to the subject matter they wish to revise/learn, and then ending with questions.
