I am currently a qualified Primary school teacher in London. I graduated with a Bsc (Hons) in Biochemistry and I have a PGCE in Primary Education.

I love how rewarding it is to see a child smile when they have learnt something new and would love to support the learning of children aged between 4 to 11 year olds with reading and phonics, writing, science and maths. I have excellent knowledge with the statutory primary assessments including the Phonics Screening Checks.

I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher and aim to be an approachable person who can inspire confidence in both parents and students alike.

I can be of most benefit to students who require support with:
SATs preparation,
Phonics,
Early Reading help,
Reading and Comprehension,
Spellings, Punctuation and Grammar as well as Mathematics (Arithmetic and Reasoning).

I am also offering 11+ tuition.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked as primary school teacher in various year groups across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

I have excellent knowledge of the Phonics Screening Checks, Times Table Assessments, the KS2 SATs and previously the KS1 SATs too.

I have a very good understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Primary Education and know what children need in each year to meet the statutory requirements.

I have also mentored trainee teachers during their training year during my time in mainstream schools.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that children learn in all different ways, so I will ensure that I tailor my tutoring to the needs of the individual.

I run sessions after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4.30pm onwards and on Saturdays between 9am-12pm.

Initial session: £20. In this session, you’ll be able to see how I tutor and how I assess your child.
1:1 session: £35 per hour
Group session: £25 per hour.

My sessions can either be online or in person.
