I am an experienced GCSE & A level teacher of history with excellent subject knowledge, particularly in medicine through time, the American West, Weimar & Nazi Germany, the Cold War, Anglo-Saxon & Norman England, the history of warfare, civil rights movement, crime & punishment & the English Civil War. Creating engaging & effective resources, methods of knowledge recall & simple exam technique are my strengths.

I have thirteen years teaching experience in History across KS3, GCSE and A-Level across two schools (as well as two additional training schools).

I use PLCs & questioning to establish strengths, key areas for development & tailor activities to improve knowledge recall, sources skills, understanding and examination technique.
