My son Alex who is in Year 11 started having tuition with Nigel just a month ago but he already can see the progress. Nigel has provided Alex with invaluable support and guidance as he prepares for his GCSE exams. As a very experienced teacher and an examiner himself, Nigel suggests helpful tips and exam tricks that Alex is finding very beneficial.

My son has just recently started with Nigel and he is thoroughly enjoying his lessons and his guidance with him. I feel lucky to have him as his tutor and believe that he will make great progress at GCSE exams.

Thank you to Nigel my daughter is really enjoying English now, reading more, understanding text more and expanding her vocabulary and improving her creative writing. Nigel has an excellent manner and provides me with feedback.

My son already had a few tuition sessions with Nigel since begining of September 2023 and we decide to continue. Nigel is well organised for the session. His method is clear and structured. His material is excellent and directly applicable for the AQA exam board.

Nigel has been working with my son doing GCSE English three times a week for several weeks. My son has left school as he struggled after lockdown and we are homeschooling, looking at other options for him. He always struggled with English and so it was so important we found a good tutor for him. Nigel has been an exceptional English tutor for my daughter. His pragmatic approach towards exam preparation allowed my daughter to gain a clear understanding of A level requirements and allocate time to complete exam papers. Very pleased with the great start that Nigel has offered to our son who is just starting his year 10 GCSE curriculum. Son is happy to attend lessons where, initially, he did not feel these were necessary or would be beneficial. He understands what is required of him, sets out to do the home tasks in advance of lessons and demonstrates commitment to Nigel’s teaching.
