I currently teach part time in a local secondary school. I enjoy exercise, listening to music and spending time in the garden. I have 2 daughters and a little dog called Gus.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching KS3 and KS4 English in secondary schools for 25 years. I have also marked GCSE English exams for the AQA examination board since 2002, so feel knowledgable in the requirements and skills required of students.

Tutoring Approach

I always strive to raise confidence in the students I teach. I use creative and up-to-date teaching materials, and past exam papers. I aim to make lessons varied, guided, and targeted to a students’ needs. I am available during weekday evenings and I also offer online tuition.
