I HAVE TWO SPACES AVAILABLE FROM JUNE 2025. Current head of department, teacher and examiner (AQA/Edexcel/EDUQAS). I have been teaching since 1996. I love imparting my knowledge of a subject that I am passionate about. I have two daughters aged 20 and 18. I teach part time as Head of Business Education in a local secondary school and am a lead examiner for WJEC/EDUQAS.
Tutoring Experience
Before having my children I held a variety of management roles within different secondary settings - Head of Sixth Form, Head of department, Deputy in charge of the IB curriculum, GCSE/A Level Examiner for a various exam boards - AQA, Edexcel and more recently Eduqas.
Tutoring Approach
As a tutor I initially begin with a diagnostic exercise to establish strengths and weaknesses. We then create a plan to ensure all topic areas are addressed prior to the official examination. As an examiner I have a distinct understanding of the requirements of exam assessments and I have been particularly successful in 'training' students to ensure they know how to respond to differing command terms.
