I am a high school science / chemistry teacher in a local high school. I qualified from the University of Hull with a first class Chemistry degree and went straight into my local secondary school and have never looked back.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching 10 years with experience of all abilities and years from 7 - 13.

I have taught OCR and AQA GCSE and Edexcel A- Level. I have many years of experience teaching the Applied Science BTEC course too.

My private tuition started 4 years ago and I find it incredibly rewarding to see my tutees suceed each year, with some staying with me after GCSE and onto A Level.

Tutoring Approach

I like my tutees to feel relaxed and I will ask them how they prefer learning, so my approach can be adapted based on their needs. I have collated an extensive bank of resources which I can access along the tutoring journey, whilst assessing the needs of the tutees with as little pressure put on them as possible.
