Maths and Physics Tutoring in Swansea

I was born in Monza, Italy on May 22nd 1998. I grew up in Milan, Italy. I
studied Physics in Milan, graduating with a mark of 110/110 cum laude.

I am particularly interested in theoretical physics, nuclear physics,
subnuclear and physics of matter. I played several sports including soccer,
volleyball, swimming, and parkour; I believe physical activity is
essential to express emotions and make mental activity more efficient.
One of my greatest passions is music.

Tutoring Experience

  • I taught maths, computer science and physics to younger students, working as a tutor. Duration: 2 years (2015-2017). Language of the courses: Italian.

  • I was assigned as the TA (teaching assistant) lead in complex analysis, calculus, physics I, II, III, and "C/C++ for physicists" modules at university of Milan. Duration: 3 years (2019-2022). Language of the course: English.

  • I worked as a teaching assistant in Maths and Python coding language modules at Swansea University. Language: English. Duration: 1 year (2022-2023).

Total experience of teaching: 6 years.

I worked also in the research field of physics, at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, which is one of the world's largest and most respected centres for scientific research. Therefore I am also experienced in that respect, and I have had a hands-on approach to physics. I worked there in 2022, as soon as my teaching assistant role in Milan was over.

Tutoring Approach

Every time I teach something, I need to make sure the concept is completely clear for my students. There are no stupid questions.

I provide students with additional material and several references for further study and understanding.

I am as concrete and grounded as possible in my explanation. I tend to keep my lessons informal and friendly so that the students can familiarise themselves with me, relate to me, and listen to me more carefully.

As I have worked in the European Organization for Nuclear Research, I have a clear idea of maths and physics matters, having practically worked in those fields. This, plus my teaching experience, helped me to develop my teaching skills.
