I am a statistician and data scientist with experience in engineering and teaching.

Having been a maths teacher for four years in the north west I have taught across the full spectrum of ability and age groups. I have taught in classes of up to 34 students and have regularly provided high quality lessons. I know the struggles children have in large classes and am able to structure my tutoring to match these needs in a one to one basis.

Tutoring Experience

I have previously taught for 4 years in mixed secondary schools in the North West. I taught from KS3 to KS5 and have individually tutored numerous students since.

Tutoring Approach

I teach Maths in a way such that the student gets a good understanding of the principles of what they are learning, rather than simply learning processes to help them pass exams. I help them understand the real life uses of their Maths and how and why they are doing the calculations in front of them. Every student which I teach will be different, so I will apply a unique approach to every student.
