Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced qualified teacher in a secondary school with a proven track record of improving outcomes of learners. I lead a department and year group and hold an NPQLT (gold standard training for leading teachers). I have over 15 years of tutoring with a proven record of improving the outcomes of all my learners. I am equally capable of delivering maths and business content at pre-GCSE and GCSE levels. For business and economics, I also deliver A Level and University level content.

Tutoring Approach

As a qualified teacher I utilise the latest research-backed methods of successfully delivering pedagogy. This involves the use of a variety of strategies including sequencing, scaffolding, quizzes, AfL, chunking and so on. To this end, I prefer to deliver tuition in person.
