Hi, my name is Newt and I am a Mathematics graduate from Aston University, Birmingham. I recived a grade A in my A level Maths, a grade 8 in my maths GCSE and a A in GCSE Further mathematics. I am very passionate about maths and love to share my knowledge and love of the subject.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring maths for 5 years working for both Leek High School and Aston University Engineering Academy. I have also been doing private tutoring for 4 years. I have worked with dyscalculia students before helping them achieve their GCSE's.

Tutoring Approach

I have a more friendly and understanding approach as usually the biggest issue students face is a lack of confidence in their work so my main aim is to help build up their coonfidence. I also focus on techniques to help them tackle any maths problem, showing them how to look at a question to break it down into steps.
