I have a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick and I am currently a secondary school Maths teacher at Wembley High Technology College, the top school in Brent.
I have been teaching for over a year working with a range of students from year 11’s sitting the Foundation GCSE and year 10’s who are doing their Higher GCSE early
Impacting students positively and developing their passion for maths brings me great satisfaction as a maths teacher, especially to those students who may perceive maths as difficult. I wish to use my teaching experience and desire to engage all students with maths to help more students outside of my school.

Tutoring Experience

I have over a years experience teaching maths to GCSE students. My experience in education has allowed me to teach a wide range of students with varying abilities and confidence levels. I have seen the common mistakes that pupils can make and I apply this knowledge to the tuition sessions I am offering.
I have experience teaching GCSE maths, both higher and foundation, specifically on the Edexcel exam board. I am happy to accommodate students who are on a different exam board.

Tutoring Approach

I offer interactive and engaging sessions that encourage pupils to ask questions at any stage so that we can both work together to identify and address any misunderstandings. I believe it is important for tutees to be able to explain what steps they are doing and the reasons behind them so discussion about methods is stimulated and understanding of the material is increased.
I am able to identify any gaps in the tutees knowledge and work with the student towards better understanding, learning and confidence with maths.
I offer one to one online tuition.
