I am a qualified French teacher with a passion for languages and a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. I have a degree in French and a teaching qualification, and I am enthusiastic about sharing not just the language but also the culture, history, and traditions of French-speaking countries. I spenty year abroad in Lyon where I truly understood the rich culture of France! I believe that learning a language opens doors to new opportunities, builds confidence, and develops valuable life skills.
I am currently teaching French up to GCSE level, working with students of a range of abilities and backgrounds. During this time, I have been developing my skills in helping students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing, as well as preparing them for assessments and exams. I have already gained valuable experience in adapting lessons to meet individual needs and in supporting students both in class and through one-to-one sessions.
My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on creating a positive and supportive learning environment. I use a range of engaging activities and resources, including games, role-plays, authentic texts, and multimedia, to keep lessons interactive and enjoyable. I tailor my lessons to match each student’s goals and learning style, regularly assessing progress and providing constructive feedback. My aim is to help students feel confident in using French in real-life situations and to develop a lifelong interest in the language.
