I work with students in person and online - online tuition has been a big success and strength of mine recently and it is a very powerful way to provide extra support for students in an easier, more flexible way.
I am Head of Maths at a high performing secondary school, including sixth form. I have a Maths degree, offering tuition for students who want that little bit of extra support to help them reach their potential. I am a friendly, hard working person with a passion for teaching and tutoring students of all abilities.
I have worked with many students as a tutor before, and have an extremely good track record, being able to motivate and educate the student to work hard so they achieve.
I have worked in two different secondary schools for over 9 years. During my time I have successfully prepared students in KS3, GCSEs and AS/A Level Maths and Further Maths, working across the ability range and teaching all of the A-Level modules. I am currently Head of Maths and have a lot of success in KS4 (GCSEs) and KS5 (A-level) courses, for my students and school.
I am a friendly, calm and passionate tutor who takes the time to understand how each student learns best. I will always tailor lessons towards the different learning needs of the student, regularly provide feedback and am approachable so that the student feels comfortable and able to learn successfully.
I regularly update parents on progress, and set work between sessions to ensure learning is built on over time.
