Professional drummer and drum tutor based in Edinburgh with over 15 years of experience and a BA (Hons) degree in Popular Music at Edinburgh Napier University.

At only 23 years old I have been fortunate to perform in bands around Europe, the UK, on BBC TV/ Radio and have played a handful of major music festivals such TRNSMT and Belladrum with Edinburgh based indie bands Vistas and swim school.

Tutoring Experience

When graduating from university in 2019 I begun to teach drums privately and at Morningside School of Music.

Teaching is something I love and being able to share the enjoyment I had when learning with others is extremely rewarding. Since I began teaching I have watched my students thrive with an average pass rate of 90% in examinations. My students have developed confidence, patience and formed a love of practicing and performing which again, is extremely rewarding.

Tutoring Approach

My approach in every lesson is to be patient, encouraging and thorough but most importantly to have fun and make every lesson enjoyable.

Each lesson is tailored to suit individual requirements whether that be for school examinations, Rockschool/Trinity/ABRSM or simply taking up the drums as a hobby!
