Hi, i am currently studying Biomedical Science and have just completed first year this June. I have completed both GCSEs and A-levels, doing very well in them as i was one of the students to achieve the highest grades in my year. My current aim is to complete my degree in biomedical science and then going on to pursue a masters in physician associate. I am currently available to tutor any primary or secondary students ( expect GCSEs) to help boost their confidence in their studies and help them to fill in any gaps in their knowledge. I am willing to travel to students or teach them online if they wish so but only within the area of Haringey.

Tutoring Experience

Although, i do not have any specific teaching experience in the tutoring field, i have worked with many younger children as a teachers assistant in a primary school where i was challenged to work with students from year 2 -3. My role consisted of helping students with basic numeracy & literacy e.g. tested them on how to tell the time, noting down class discussions on board.
I also learnt how to develop good communications skills with younger pupils who find it difficult to understand adult language e.g. difficult words and then explaining them in short terms.

Tutoring Approach

I am open to adapt and work with any learning style which the student may have and am willing to help to improve their way of learning if they are not sure. With younger children giving examples is the best way to build their knowledge and to help them apply the knowledge given in other aspects.
