Currently a a final year Chemistry PhD research student at the University of Southampton, performing research into nuclear materials using computational modelling. My research has been published in peer reviewed scientific journals. I have also presented my research at several international conferences.

I achieved a first class undergraduate masters degree in Chemistry with Intercalated Year in Computer Science MSci (Hons) from the University of Birmingham. I have also completed a postgraduate masters degree in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry MSc from the University of Oxford.

I am a professional member (MRSC) of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

Postgraduate demonstrator, University of Southampton School of Chemistry:
Leading undergraduate workshops by facilitating discussion and debate to improve learning outcomes.
Preparing resources for workshops for undergraduate teaching.
Responding to student’s questions during workshops and laboratory practicals through demonstration.

E-mentoring A-level students aspiring to study Chemistry at University:
Helping students with their A-level chemistry studies and exam preparation.
Supporting students with their UCAS application for university.
Providing feedback and guidance with UCAS personal statements.
Supported several A-level students with successful applications to Russell group universities. including the University of Cambridge with two students progressing into PhD research degrees.

Technology: Enhanced Learning: Incorporates technology tools and resources to facilitate and enhance learning experiences. Using online platforms, educational apps, multimedia and virtual simulations to improve student engagement.

Mastery Learning: Ensuring that students master the required knowledge and skills before progressing to the next level. Setting clear learning objectives, providing targeted feedback, and allowing students to demonstrate their understanding through assessments. Promote a deeper understanding of concepts and prevents knowledge gaps.
