Myriam

Hello my name is Myriam and I am half French, half Austrian and fluent in both languages. I am a theatre and filmmaker and am currently a student in London.

Since I grew up bilingual my passion for different languages and cultures flourished very early and I've maintained my love of languages ever since. For me languages are a game and open many doors for people in so many ways. My aim is to show my students the joy within the words and it is important to me to meet each student's individual needs.

Tutoring Experience

I have 4 years of teaching experience in German, French and English.
The age range of my students were 9-60.
As a native speaker in both German and French with several years of experience tutoring I can:
- offer a structured approach to teaching
- help with using correct grammar
- show students how to use authentic native expressions
- teach a high level of correct pronunciation.

For tutoring art subjects such as craft and design or drama I have a long working experience in both fields and have facilitated classes with bigger and smaller groups. Some of the drama and art workshops I led included only adults and others were acting workshops for children and young adults from age range 8-18 in summer camps. I also gave painting and craft classes for children and adults.

Tutoring Approach

If you book a lesson with me, we can go over the structure of our lessons and what your individual needs and goals are so that we can directly jump into the material and have fun with languages or art!
I have learning material like books, texts that I can provide while learning but we can also use your own if you prefer or if you are preparing for a specific exam. I also provide audio recordings of text and pronunciation.
