I am a currently a student studying medicine at university and while I have been studying I have completed a lot of online courses in various sectors I believe would really help with tutoring, as I have developed a lot of different skills and techniques that would be really useful for different students and there various levels of understanding.
I have previously worked with younger students mainly primary school pupils. I have also worked with a few GCES students.
I myself feel that it best to understand the students that I teacher first. So if you do consider me as a potential tutor for your child I would offer the first lesson free this is to get to know the student for who they are, which would then allow me to personalise lessons for that particular student, so that they would be able to understand all the concepts that we go through. Also I would do regularly tests and keep the student and the parents updated with the progress as we proceed. If my students don’t feel that the lesson layout is working for them I am opened to any adjustments that would make them feel more comfortable and confident.
