I am a qualified medical doctor and graduate from University of Liverpool. I am approachable, enthusiastic and hard-working as a person and this translates in going the extra mile for students of mine.

At A level, I achieved A*'s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

Having successfully applied to a number of medical schools, I can provide guidance on the application process, particularly on entrance exams such as the BMAT and UKCAT.

Tutoring Experience

Throughout my medical school years, I organised and led teaching sessions for junior medical students in my role as Academic Representative. This involved interactive teaching methods that helped hundreds of students during my university tenure grasp complex and high-yield medical school topics in an easily digestible manner.

As Academic Rep, I also organised practice Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) for medical students, an area in which I continue to offer my expertise.

Additionally, I have extensive experience tutoring A-Level and GCSE students, and am able to effectively cater to a wide range of abilities.

Tutoring Approach

As a medical graduate and an experienced tutor, I believe that mastering medicine requires a personalised and strategic approach. I start by assessing each student's understanding and tailor my teaching to their preferred learning style. My focus is on building a strong foundation in fundamental medical concepts, ensuring students not only remember but understand the material deeply.

Using active learning techniques, I engage students in the content through discussion, practical examples, and application of knowledge to exam-style questions. This method not only prepares them for their exams but also sharpens their ability to tackle real-world medical problems. I leverage repetition and practice extensively, as this has proven effective in solidifying knowledge and exposing gaps that need attention.
