I am an enthusiastic, empathetic and dedicated teacher with extensive skills and experience of supporting and challenging children to be their very best. I have completed my Primary PGCE from the University of Sussex and have been awarded my Qualified Teacher Status. I have worked with the Early Years Foundation Stage National Curriculum, Primary National Curriculum and the statutory requirements.
Prior to this I graduated with a 2:1 in Business from the University of Brighton.
My preference is to help and teach primary children in academic areas of learning they need support in or further enhancement in. Spelling, timetables, reading and writing are also areas I am happy to teach.
I am available every evening Monday to Thursday. I am also available in the weekends too. Over the holidays I will be available in the daytime and afternoon in the weekdays and weekends.
One to One (online).
I have worked across various schools. I effectively and efficiently adapt as a professional and classroom practitioner. I have taught all years groups from Reception to Year 6.
I am a friendly, sociable and understanding individual. I thoroughly enjoy being a teacher because of the warmth the children give me with their joy and playfulness. I am enamoured by their curiosity and ability to learn and improve. I have a patient, soft and calm approach to teaching and learning. The sense of achievement feels incredibly rewarding.
I work according to the learner's ability, needs and requirements.
