What has attracted me to be a maths tutor is my ability in mathematics and my motivating character. This is well supported by my vast deep experience in teaching at KS5 for Yr12 and Yr13 in subjects like A-level and Further Mathematics.
As a well-qualified graduate from academies after 32 years of education, with a Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics and physics and five published papers in peer-reviewed journals, I feel capable of tutoring enthusiastic hard-working students.
My teaching method is based on interaction with students and putting Socratic questions to them at various stages of teaching. It is via these questions that I always intend to strengthen tutees’ analytical skills in solving the problems which indeed is the opening gate towards their academic success later in higher education.
