I am a young and enthusiastic History and Politics teacher currently teaching at a top Kent Grammar School with excellent exam results.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in both comprehensive and grammar schools to a variety of abilities, and can tailor content appropriately.

I attended the University of Essex where I studied Modern History where I gained First Class degree and graduated second in my entire department.

Currently, I teach History at KS3, GCSE (Edexcel) and A Level (Edexcel), as well as Politics (AQA/Edexcel) at A Level - I can tutor in any of these fields.

The units I teach at the moment are as follows, but am able to cater for other units and specifications too:
GCSE History (Edexcel) - Medicine in Britain, Early Elizabethan England, Cold War and Superpower relationd, Weimar and Nazi Germany (have also taught Anglo-Saxon and Norman England previously)
A Level History (Edexcel) - Germany and West Germany 1918-1989, coursework
A Level Politics (AQA/Edexcel) - UK Politics and Political Ideas

Tutoring Approach

My students claim to enjoy my use of humour in my teaching, as well as my clear and structured approach to lessons. This includes the use of a wide variety of activities to help students secure their knowledge, and then applying this to the relevant exam questions.
