Originally from Belfast, I have lived in England since going to university in Liverpool in 1992. I lived in Mexico for a few years where I learnt my Spanish but have enjoyed teaching English, Maths and Art and Design over the years, mainly in the UK.
I have over 26 years teaching experience in UK secondary and primary schools. I was a whole school Literacy Coordinator as well as Lead Practitioner in a busy secondary school English Department. I also tutor Maths and English for 11+ and School Entrance Exams.
I am very approachable and make lessons interactive and fun as well as very informative. My lessons are are product of 26 years teaching experience. I tailor lessons to your individual needs and will assess regularly according to exam mark schemes with targeted feedback given.
