I am a graduate from the University of Sunderland - BSc hons Information Technology and Education - 2:1. I also gained a Master of Education from the University of Newcastle in 2006. I'm married and have 8 year old twin girls.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for twenty successful years and tutoring for 16 years. I'm currently Head of Mathematics at a school in Northumberland. I have excellent experience teaching GCSE Maths, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher and Access. My personal teaching philosophy is to ensure each tutee achieves his/her best with my support. This is achieved by developing strategies to meet their needs, so that they are able to enjoy each lesson and achieve their full potential.

Tutoring Approach

I plan and prepare my lessons to the need of the individual and re-enforce any uncertainty until the appropriate targets/level have been met.
