Mia

I am a very calm and patient person and I am easy to talk to and good at teaching both children, and young adults. I also have a sense of humour and can make learning more fun. I studied 6 subjects at A-level and AS-level so I have knowledge in a wide area of subjects, including English and Maths. I am currently studying Psychology at university, and going on to do a Masters in Law.

Tutoring Experience

I tutored both my sisters during their GCSE’s and I have tutored younger children before. I also have experience tutoring children online - I tutored children in Kenya in English and maths online for a year.

Tutoring Approach

I am patient with students and often go over things multiple time until we are both sure they have understood it. I also set tasks, which I often try to make enjoyable, for students to do in between lessons. I encourage students to ask questions and make sure that they understand that no question will go unanswered.
