Hello! My name is Mia and I'm a qualified English teacher, currently working in an Ofsted Outstanding school. I love being an educator and find the process of working on a 1-1 basis with students incredibly rewarding.
I currently teach both English Language and English Literature up to A Level. As I work full time as a teacher, I only have evening, weekend and school holiday slots available.
The students I teach range in ability from those resitting their GCSE English Language exam for the third time to the most able A Level students, some of whom have gained places to study English at Oxford and Cambridge.
No matter what your particular goal is, I have experience teaching students of a similar ability and will be able to tailor our sessions to your specific needs.
I take a student-centred approach to teaching as the benefit of private tutoring is that everything can be tailored to the individual. Our initial sessions will be focused on discovering any gaps you may have in your knowledge or precise skills that we can work on together.
