Hi, I'm Mia! I am a 3rd year Medical student at Kings College London. I went to Headington School in Oxford and I achieved 3 A*s at A level (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). I am available to tutor GCSE Biology, Chemistry and A level Biology. I am currently doing lessons online and in person from the 11th of January. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, hanging out with my friends and walking my dog!

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring depends on the student as each student has different needs and learning styles. In the introductory session I will speak with the student to gain a grasp of their learning styles, discuss their needs (e.g., whether they want more understanding in a certain topic or exam question help). I will make sure that the student fully understands the topic and is able respond to questions in a way that will allow them to gain as many marks as possible.

I can send resources (questions, reading material, etc.) in advance of the session as well as after the session, such as providing students with extra exam practice questions which I will always be happy to mark in my own time. I can also assist with the Maths skills component for all subjects.

I try to keep the sessions as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
