I am currently a first year student at King's College London, doing a masters degree in physics. I am able to teach chemistry, maths and physics up to an A-level standard. In the past I've had afew students studying for their GCSE maths exams and have always helped classmates with their work when needed. From this I've developed my abilities in explaining tough concepts in a clear way. Since I have very recently sat my A-level and GCSE exams I understand how tough they can be and wish to help future students get the grades they want or need. I have a particular passion for physics and would love to inspire younger students to pursue it as a career or at the least get them to be excited about the subject. I completed my A-levels at New stead Wood Grammar School in 2023 and during this time started a physics club in order to help younger students discover the fun side of physics.
I have worked part time for STEM Tutors since 2020. I mainly taught maths and physics up to GCSE level. During sixth form I was part of the mentoring scheme at Newstead Wood and helped tutor a number of students from year 8.
In my experience students work best when they are in a relaxed environment and feel as though they are not being judged. I try my best to create this environment while still making sure the student works hard.
