您好，我是来自伦敦的梅老师！我是一位经验丰富的英语补习老师，我非常熟悉Wycome Abbey 威克姆阿贝女中，CLC 切尔腾纳姆女子学院, Henrietta Barnett School HB女校的考试和面试。我帮助来自中国的学生和在英国出生的华人学生作考前辅导。我擅长诊断华人学生在英语学习不足的问题，并设计针对性的课程来提高他们的语言能力。我了解对于华人学生来说考试成绩的敌人是什么。我尤其擅长帮助华人学生答题和写作想表达的，但又用英语写不出来的词汇，短语和句子。
我教过的学生都看到了成绩有所提高，截止到今年8月为止，我辅导的学生遍及中国不同城市，比如我的七年级学生，有的在UKiset考试中，从B1提升到C1, 有的从B1提升到B2，我辅导的中国体制内学校就读的四年级的学生首次UKiset考到B1, 同样在中国四年级的就读学生，在GL 考试中，被英国TOP3的中学对口小学录取。我的学生都考取了第一志愿学校，比如伊顿，哈罗，布莱顿和温彻斯特学校的对口小学以及优秀的伦敦走读学校。我辅导的在英国出生的华人学生，考取了伦敦区域的文法学校以及英国公学。
我上课时候，既可以全部用英语授课，也可以用中文授课，这取决于学生的需求和英语水平。我的网课有严格的行为规范管理，让家长放心。
我2003年毕业于诺丁汉大学的教育本科，2004年硕士毕业，大学毕业后，我被教育猎头找到并安排在英国当地学校担任全职助教。三年后，我开始为英国华人孩子补习。自从2016年后，由于来英国就学的中小学生数量越来越多，我开始把补习课程搬到网上，并运用多媒体教学。
我有两个孩子。我住在伦敦。我的兴趣爱好是阅读，吃巧克力和跑步。

Hello, I'm May from London! I am an experienced English tutor who helps prepare Chinese and British-born Chinese pupils for UK school exams. I know what cause these students to be struggling with English, and design special programmes to improve their language skills. I know the real enemies of test results. I am particularly good at helping my Chinese students find the right English words, phrases or sentences to complete reading comprehension questions and writing tasks. All of my student saw an increase in their grades. As of August 2020, they all got the places at their first choices of school, such as feeder schools to Eton, Harrow, Brighton, Winchester College; highly-competitive grammar schools in London, and public schools.

In my classroom, I speak either English or Chinese to my students, depending on their needs and English level. For those parents who are constantly at work or away from home, I can reassure you that I manage online classroom behaviour.

I studied Education at the University of Nottingham, where I graduated in 2003 and 2004 respectively. I was awarded with B.Ed and M.A.. When I finished university, I was headhunted and employed as a full-time Teaching Assistant in local schools. After three years, I moved on to private tutor Chinese children who grow up in the UK. From 2016, with the number of young Chinese students continued to add to British schools, I transferred my classes online, using multi-media in e-learning.

I have two children and live in London. My hobbies include reading, eating chocolate and jogging.
