Alongside my role as an English, Media and Film Studies teacher, I am the Editor of Innovate Journal. A teacher-research journal that shares and publishes research conducted by teachers. I also, train English teachers in my local area!

Tutoring Experience

Over the five years of teaching my experience spans across teaching English, Media and Film Studies. My experience of teaching started with the new specification, so am extremely familiar with criteria of success with the new GCSEs. Further to this, I teach students aged between 12-18 years old in the subjects mentioned above.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is flexible and focused. Being a teacher-researcher I am open to new teaching approaches which is of the benefit of students. At the heart of my approach is talk, talk which helps students to learn and talk about learning too.
